New pedestrian crossing construction under way along Koeberg Road

The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate is currently signalising a pedestrian crossing along Koeberg Road in Milnerton in the interests of road safety for vulnerable road users. The work commences today, 28 November 2024 and will be complete by 18 December 2024, if all goes according to plan.

Residents and business owners in the area are advised that work will take place between 10:00 and 16:00 from Monday to Sunday.

‘This much needed traffic safety intervention along the busy Koeberg Road is aimed at improving road safety for vulnerable road users. Road users are urged to exercise caution while work is under way by reducing their speed. We thank you for your cooperation while we try and complete the project ahead of the holidays,’ said the City’s mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
